Busy Week

Well this is the last week of summer! I can't believe it is already over. We will without question have a busy week this week. I will trying to fit in the "one more" trips to the zoo, OMSI, collecting school supplies, school clothes, etc....

Davis and Liz leave early Tuesday morning and my kids are going to miss them soooooo much! They have had so much fun together. Paul and I have also loved having Davis and Liz here--they are so fun and relaxed. It has truly been a blessing for our family!

We are going to attempt Ryan's haircut on Thursday morning at his Occupational Therapy Appointment. We will see! We are gearing up for it.

Well I think that is about it. Tomorrow is another new day. Peace :)

Brendan's Drs Appointment

Well 2 months after being on the pump--Bren is feeling great! He went in to visit Dr. Selva and was bragged on and smiled upon! His AIC was 7.1--which is amazing! He has been closer to the 8. mark in the past.

She was so trilled as we all were! Brendan is going "self sufficient" this year at school which means no more trips to the nurse, unless he is low! We are hopeful that this will be a wonderful freedom for him and that he will continue to build confidence within himself!

He is doing great!

Fun with the cousins :)

Okay so it has been way too long since I blogged last. I have been dealing with quite a bit in my life the past few months and blogging seems to be at the bottom of my importance list. But I do enjoy writing and knowing that I can keep all of you up to date. So please forgive my lengthy post and all the great pictures!

Davis, Liz, Abby, and Hank Holland have been here visiting with us for a couple of weeks now. Davis came first and participated in the "Masters Swim Competition" at Mt Hood Community College and we enjoyed throughly watching him race and swim!

Last Tuesday Liz and the kids came in and the family took off for Crater Lake, the Lava Tubes near Bend and finally back to Mt. Hood to stay at the famous Timberline Lodge. :) Today Paul and the kids met up with the Hollands and they enjoyed a day of hiking around the gorge water falls and playing together. I stayed home alone, and had a quite day catching up on laundry, dishes, "Ellen", as well as some needed rest. It was very nice having the day to myself in my house!

The pictures below are for your entertainment. Hope you enjoy them! I will write more later, maybe even more tonight if I can hang in there--I am sooooo sleepy!
