I made it and feel great!

Well my very crazy day went by very quickly. Two thank you volunteer banquets, children to school, meetings, practices, shopping, bank and payroll. All behind me. :) Tomorrow I will wrap up things that need to be taken care of before we disappear to the beach :) Clean house, fold 40 loads of laundry (not really--just feels like it), pack, run a few errands, etc...

We had a great appt. with Jennifer today and I think that Ms Sauer is going to be a good fit for Jenny. I think it will be good. I will have to let go a little of my "I have to be in control" attitude, but I am confident that this will be good for her and me a like!

Bren woke up today feeling great--ready to go to school, Jenny the same, Ryan a little later but also ready to go. :) Mom sighs a big relief.

I am truly a blessed woman. I am loved by friends, family, my husband, my children, and God. I couldn't ask for more than that. Love to all of you!

We have been reading Prince Caspian at church on Wednesday nights for a while in preperation for the upcoming movie. Tonight I was struck by a conversation in the book between Aslan and Lucy:

"Aslan, " said Lucy, "you're bigger." "That is because you are older, little one," answered he. "Not because you are?" "I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger."

Every year we grow older we believe more and feel that God is more present in our lives--Bigger if you will in our lives. What a blessing. I have enjoyed reading this book as a adult with other adults so much. I think we do not do enough reading aloud together--what a joyful experience. Thank you to all who were involved in this. I am trying to find the CD Book version of this book so we could take it on our trip this weekend and listen to it with the kids. :) I think it would be fun and maybe raise some great conversations :)

The flower above is one of my favorite flowers I think I have ever seen (the Blue Passion Flower) --hopefully mine will look like this one :) I got a couple of these and planted them with my clematis. I am hoping they will all intermingle and have beautiful flowers everywhere! I love gardening--I want just a day with no rain to plant, weed and clean up. I am ready! :)

Well all for now. Going to bed a decent time tonight I think. :)
