Well here is an update of our cute little Sammy! He took 2nd place in his puppy class and has now graduated to obedience one. :) He and Kodi are getting along great and play (although many people fear that they are trying to eat one another) constantly. Sammy is completely potty trained and rings a bell at the back door when he wants to go out and then just waits for us to come. Kodi has even tried the bell a couple of times himself, although he likes to try the whining approach better. Sammy seems to be chewing less stuff and also eating less socks--so we see that as good progress. He loves the kids and knows that this is home. Even when he gets out of the fence he still just waits by the front door until his barking alerts us to his whereabouts. We are blessed by having him here and so is Kodi--he is quite stressed each morning until Sammy comes out of his Kennel and also when we get home! They play all the way to the back door. :)
